Wild Turkey Recipes Baked

Enjoy our wild turkey recipes baked to perfection!

Ingredients:

1 wild turkey – around 12 lbs

4 carrots – cut up

3 medium onions – chopped

4 celery stalks – cut up

4 strips of bacon

butter (unsalted)

garlic salt

seasoned salt

black pepper

Directions:

Start by cleaning up the turkey with cold water. Then rub the turkey inside and out with seasoned salt, black pepper, and garlic salt. Next put the turkey inside a cooking bag then put the carrot, onion, and celery in around the turkey. Now rub the butter all over the entire turkey.  After that set the bacon strips across the turkey breast.

Seal up the bag and bake at 325 for 2-3 hours, or until meat thermometer hits 180 degrees. Baking time will increase for larger turkeys. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy.
