As soon as you have harvested your elk you will need to remove the entrails. This is a simple task but it is always helpful to have an experienced person help you the first time. Try to keep the elk as clean as possible. Besides removing the entrails, hunters should remove all organs from an elk’s body cavity. The elk should then be hung to cool.
