Crock Pot Recipes for Elk Backstrap

Ingredients:

1 elk backstrap

2 cans – cream of mushroom soup 

1 cup red wine

2 potatoes – large

1 onion – large

1 bag baby carrots

seasoned salt – to taste

cracked black pepper – to taste

 

Instructions: 

Cut up elck backstrap into ¾” pieces. Season with salt and pepper then add to crock pot. Chop up the potatoes, onion, and add to crock pot with the baby carrots.

Next mix in the cans of cream of mushroom soup, and add two cans of water. Also add in the red wine. Now mix everything together well in the crock pot. Set crock pot on low and cook for at least 8 hours mixing occasionally to ensure everything cooks equally.
